The articles, essays, and conversations on this site regarding human advancement are written in as non-inflammatory a vein as possible while still presenting our point of view. As the old adage goes, though, “You can’t please everyone all the time.” That being said, those who support educating the masses over indoctrinating them, questioning the universe over accepting it on faith, and considering moderation over extremes will most likely be most comfortable here.
We at ShaneKula.com feel attaining this moderate outlook on issues is best achieved through facilitating the education of the masses. An educated public is the first step toward a public that understands progress, has the tools and capabilities to advance into the future, and is cognizant and aware of their place in it. A divided species is not one that survives in the long term, however, so it is up to every one of us to find commonalities over differences.
ShaneKula.com’s most basic principle is simply – Never stop questioning. Education is based on questioning the world around you. Once a species stops asking questions it stops growing. Once a society believes it has all of the answers it stagnates and progress is lost. So, in closing, always keep in mind that the foundation of Human Advancement must be, first and foremost, Question Everything. This site provides a forum to do so. If you have any further questions at this point, feel free to ask them via the Contact page.
